Whether it’s an unexpected illness, loss, natural disaster, or other urgent event, the fund helps employees and their families meet basic living needs like housing, utilities, food, and transportation.

The program offers two main areas of support: Crisis Assistance, helping employees navigate immediate financial hardships, and Transportation Support, provided in partnership with Sharing House’s Wheels 2 Work Program, ensuring employees have reliable transportation to maintain employment and daily life.

Established in 2021, the fund honors the enduring legacy of Nancy Stricker and Becky Alderman, two leaders whose decades of dedication helped shape ALULA into a thriving organization that creates meaningful opportunities for individuals with disabilities and barriers to employment. From Nancy’s beginnings as a Direct Support Professional to Becky’s leadership in program development and government partnerships, their work has strengthened communities and inspired lasting impact.

The Stricker-Alderman Fund carries forward their spirit of compassion, resilience, and care—supporting employees in need, inspiring hope, and ensuring the culture they built continues to thrive.
