Celebrating 25 Years: Jamie Owen’s Lasting Impact at ALULA
This month, Jamie Owen marks an incredible milestone, 25 years with ALULA.
For a quarter century, Jamie has shown up with consistency, pride, and a willingness to do whatever the day calls for. Whether it is pushing boxes through the line, palletizing, packaging, or stepping into something new, Jamie has done it all.
“I’m proud to be here,” Jamie shared simply. “I’ll keep doing what I am now for 25 more years.”
That mindset is exactly what has made Jamie such an important part of the ALULA team.
Jamie is known for something that cannot be taught: dependability.
“I always know Jamie is ready to work,” said David Croom, Production A Shift Supervisor. “He comes in, gets to his role, and starts his day. He asks good questions and wants to understand what’s coming next.”
That curiosity, paired with years of hands-on experience, has made Jamie a quiet expert on the production floor. From case erectors to packaging lines, he brings a level of working knowledge that helps keep operations running smoothly.
“I’ve seen him help several team members adjust equipment and troubleshoot issues,” David added. “That’s something you only get from experience.”
More Than Experience: A Trusted Teammate & Resource
Over 25 years, Jamie has built more than skill. He has built trust.
“Jamie is one of the most dependable individuals we have in production,” said Kari Hammitt, Production Manager. “We know we can count on him to do good work every day.”
That dependability is matched by a depth of knowledge that makes him a valuable resource to those around him. Jamie brings experience that helps newer employees learn, grow, and gain confidence in their roles. His ability to step into different tasks and support wherever needed reflects both his versatility and his commitment to the team.
As Kari puts it, “He is capable of doing a wide range of jobs within production.”
While Jamie may be quiet at times, those who work closely with him know there is much more beneath the surface.
“If you get him talking about the Special Olympics, he lights up,” Kari shared. “He is incredibly proud of what he has accomplished outside of work.”
That pride, dedication, and steady work ethic carry into everything he does at ALULA.
And even after 25 years, Jamie is still growing.
“I look forward to challenging him to learn new skills,” Kari added. “I’d like to see him continue to step outside his comfort zone and keep building on what he already does so well.”
Beyond the work itself, Jamie’s time at ALULA has also been shaped by connection.
From sharing stories about classic Saturday morning wrestling to day-to-day conversations on the line, he has built meaningful relationships with the people around him.
Those moments, big and small, are part of what make his tenure more than just a number.
